Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many have recently arrived from another country to the United States in hopes of a better education.
Having such a diverse group of students brings different challenges to the classroom each day, but that won't stop them from reaching their individual goals!
They are young first graders filled with love and a willingness to learn new and different things. Some are ESOL students who have yet to grasp the English Language.
My Project
I am requesting whiteboards which would be an added bonus to my classroom instruction. The whiteboards allow me to see exactly what the students are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. Also having tangible rewards to give my students will make them eager to participate in class and work even harder for an award.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
