My Project
Speech therapy sessions are full of data collection and watching our students grow. Our sessions need to be fun and engaging, but sometimes drill work is part of the sessions and that can be boring. Using open-ended games during speech therapy sessions can be a valuable tool to help make speech drills more engaging and enjoyable for students. Students can learn to take turns, encourage each other, and practice those pesky speech sounds.
Using open ended games like Picky Kitty and Gobble Monster create a connection between language and motivating students to actively participate in therapy activities.
Making sessions more fun, engaging and pleasurable will help my students fly through their articulation drill work.
