My Project

I am creating this specific project to be able to create a board game section in our school library for teachers to use during indoor recess or student incentives. As students are using technology most of the day, this would give them another option during free time to learn all of the skills that so many of us learned growing up with games like Monopoly or Life.

Playing board games teaches skills that students cannot learn from technology, such as turn taking, math skills, sportsmanship, cooperation, and kindness.

By giving to this project, the games purchased would be shared with the whole school for years to come. So many students in Kindergarten-5th Grade would be able to gain valuable skills and get to interact with their peers in a new way.
