Endangered Animals and Climate Change

Help me give my students materials to help us learn about changes we can make to help endangered animals and protect their habitats.

My Project

I teach an incredible group of 4-year-old students. This year, they love to learn all about animals. We have been learning about all the different animals and their habitats, the ocean, the arctic, the grasslands, and the rainforest. This year's students seem very sensitive towards the endangered animals like pandas, polar bears, tigers, sea turtles, and many others.

I would like to help my students learn simple changes to prevent climate change to help protect endangered animals and their habitats.

I would like them to share what they have learned by making posters to hang up on our school building.

The materials we are asking for are some hands-on toys, such as animal kingdom blocks, to help them learn about lions, birds, and penguins, and books to teach us about actions we can take.

A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card and a Brainpop Jr subscription will provide students with videos to watch, along with slideshows and other resources to teach students about saving animals and habitats. The fish tank will help us learn why clean water and water temperature are so important for fish, as well as freshwater and ocean creatures.
