My Students
My ELA grade 7/8 students are the best in the world! Every day they have to deal with all that comes with being Autistic. They are brave and excited about life and the opportunities it has to offer them. They love to learn and want to succeed.
My students thrive in an environment where they feel safe and have a routine.
My goal is to continue to make my students feel safe, secure, and well educated.
My Project
Those of you who are familiar with my class know that I give snacks out to students in each class. I have come to understand that for some students this will be the first thing that they will have eaten that day. We really need to keep providing these. If a student is not focusing on how hungry they are, they can focus on the subject matter.
My advisory students have expressed a desire to serve the school community through making handmade cards and decorations.
You will notice some craft supplies in my project, that is because my advisory class want to embrace their school community through handmade projects which I think is amazing. I really hope that you can help make these things happen for them.
