This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As 6th graders preparing to leave elementary school, my students have worked incredibly hard and deserve a small but meaningful treat to celebrate this milestone. Providing them with candy, cookies, and a Snapple will not only bring joy but also create a positive memory as they transition to middle school. A small snack can serve as both a reward and a way to acknowledge their dedication throughout the year. The items I am requesting will make a difference by offering my students a well-earned break. Candy and cookies provide a fun and simple way to celebrate, giving them a little something special to enjoy. Meanwhile, a Snapple will help keep them refreshed in the heat, ensuring they stay comfortable during the warmer days at the end of the school year. These small gestures can go a long way in making them feel appreciated.
My goal for this project is to give my students a small, healthy snack to mark the end of their elementary school journey.
This is a special time in their lives, and I want to make sure they leave with happy memories. They have put in the effort, and they deserve to be recognized for it in a way that feels personal and rewarding.
