End Of Year Glow Up

My Project

Many of my students come from trauma infused homes and communities. These sensory items will be used as an incentive to promote positive behavior, encourage engagement and to celebrate student achievement.

My ultimate goal is for the students to regulate their social emotional behavior while succeeding in their academic challenges.

It's a small reward that can make a child's day much brighter and keep their focus on something happy.

Throughout the year, I use sensory fidget incentives and snacks to keep my students engaged and as rewards to celebrate their success. These sensory items have had the greatest interest and impact, and it brings smiles to their faces. It also helps build teacher / student rapport by acknowledging their succes - social emotional or academic.
