This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love most about my students is their unique personalities, their strength, and the incredible progress they make each day. My students are all special needs children with autism, and they bring so much joy, curiosity, and determination to our classroom. Each one of them learns in their own way, and watching them grow and overcome challenges is truly inspiring.

This project will help provide snacks and juice for an end-of-the-year party—a well-deserved celebration of all they’ve accomplished.

Many of my students thrive on routine and structure, but they also benefit deeply from social experiences like this, where they can relax, interact with their peers, and enjoy a sense of community. These snacks and drinks will help make the party feel special, giving them a fun, sensory-friendly way to celebrate a year of hard work, learning, and growth.
