Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At the end of the year, the 8th grade class will have the opportunity to attend a trip to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for Gradventure. The students look forward to this event throughout their years in middle school. They need to have a small bag for their essentials as well as a water bottle for refilling on the trip. They will need to have their school identification and wear it while at the parks. These items are sometimes cost prohibitive for families that are already paying for the trip. We would like to be able to supply these items for "purchase" with Thunderbucks, our school "currency", so that everyone can have them.
