This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Most of the products I selected are social emotional helpers. This year I have a big group of students with different social emotional difficulties. I think taking these items home as a reward for their great effort learning during this year will allow them to calm their anxiety. During the year I saw that my students relax while molding play dough. They like also looking at their favorite colors. Since they are preschoolers, they need to reinforce their fine motors skills. By molding, popping, and squeezing they will develop their fine motors skills. I hope they have fun and return to kinder stronger and ready to write more.
