This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Aloha mai! I am a first year, first grade teacher in Hawai'i. My first graders have been working hard all school year and have been making gains not only in their academics but, in their behaviors as well. This project will show my students the love I have for them and have proud I am of all their accomplishments.

My goals for this project is to celebrate my students' hard work they did this year!

My class is such a fun-loving bunch and they truly do love to party! This project will not only allow them to party but, get the families of my student involved in the celebration through set up for the luau as well as contributing to the food we will share. This will be such a great way to celebrate my first classes accomplishments.
