Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each year we have a block party event at the end of the school year. This event is the schools main fundraiser for the year, but also is our biggest family engagement event that we host. There are many stations including face painting, cow petting, a balloon artist, food, library station, music, and games. This year we were hoping to add prizes at the game station to make it a little more fun for the kiddos. We already have the games themselves saved from previous years, but would like to have something tangible the students can take home as well.
