This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been practicing their money skills all year long with their class economy. They've applied and worked for classroom jobs, paid debt, rent, etc. Students have kept track of their income and paychecks using their addition /subtraction skills. They have also learned that debt is represented by using negative numbers.

This auction serves as an award for their work.

They will learn how auctions work along with the monetary strategies that follow.

This auction will be a great way to end of the year and see their progress!
