My Project

As part of our PBIS initiative, students earn points for their positive actions, which they can redeem for prizes or incentives. While we have built up plenty of excitement and anticpation around this initiative, we are missing a key piece to the puzzle- prizes!

Incentives play a crucial role in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) because they help reinforce and encourage positive behaviors in students.

Rewards motivate students to engage in desirable behaviors, such as respect, responsibility, and kindness, making these actions more likely to be repeated. Incentives also help build a positive school culture – Recognizing good behavior creates a more supportive, respectful, and inclusive environment, reducing conflicts and disciplinary issues.
