This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Classroom rewards and incentives serve many purposes in the classroom. They can be a great way to boost a student's self-esteem, encourage positive behavior, and help motivate students. With everything going on currently, students need something that will excite them. Classroom rewards and incentives are just the thing! These rewards and incentives will provide deserving students with reinforcement for good behavior and motivation in the classroom. I believe that encouraging students to make good choices includes providing rewards they can enjoy and utilize in the classroom in addition to other rewards and verbal acknowledgement. The incentives, play dough, squishy toys, and fidget toys will allow students to be recognized among their peers for displaying positive behavior and completion of work.

Students earn incentives based on class participation, behavior, following classroom procedures, completing required tasks, and supporting each other.

My students are growing and learning everyday. My students are so kind and thoughtful. They love to earn rewards for good behavior, improving on assessments, and participating in class. I know my students will work hard to earn these rewards and incentives.
