My Project

Semester two of the 2023-2024 school year is moving quickly! As I have continued building relationships with students, learning about student interests, and finding new and creative ways to encourage their best efforts in music, there has been one common motivating factor: SNACKS! As most of us do, my students love snacks, especially as rewards for their positive behavior and musical growth. Learning and developing instrumental technique teaches hard work, focus, dedication, teamwork, communication, and patience.

At such a young age, my students are able to display many of these skills, and more, each and every day!

My students demonstrate that they’re eager and excited to develop their gifts in music. My goal is to help them realize their potential and recognize their achievements both big and small. Providing snacks in the past has been one of the most effective ways to help them enjoy their time in class, try their best while they are learning, and encourage one another to be their best selves as well. A snack a day provides enthusiasm as they play!
