My Students
We are a small, K-8 school in a culturally diverse neighborhood in New York City. My students are enthusiastic, expressive, curious learners from all different backgrounds. They are excited to learn and make amazing art projects. They love painting, drawing, sculpting with clay, and really anything they can be creative with! With budget cuts having affected New York public schools in recent years, it has become difficult for us to sometimes purchase even some of the most basic of supplies for our classroom.
My Project
To keep my students motivated in class, I have set up a positive reward system to encourage a love of learning and promote an overall feeling of positivivity in the classroom!
The prizes I've requested; stress balls, slime, and other prizes are important because they will help to motivate my students and reward them for a job well done.
These toys were their favorites and because they were my students favorites, I ran out of them very quickly. I would love for my students to continue to look forward to winning some amazing goodies that will keep them motivated and make them smile!
These prizes would be much appreciated by my students and will help to make each day of learning that much brighter and more exciting for them! Thank you so much!
