Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The 2025/2026 school year will be different for me, I will be transitioning from 4th grade to 2nd grade. Luckily, I have had the unique opportunity of getting to know the incoming 2nd graders in my position as an intervention teacher.
The incoming 2nd graders have shown me just how important body movement is for focus and learning!
I have some resources to support my students with this, but new chairs, and bands would be even more beneficial for my students.
Often times, children resort to unsafe solutions in order to get their sensory or movement needs met. These new chairs would help my students be able to move their bodies safely in, while also helping them focus on the learning!
