Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th graders love to read fiction and comic books. They also love to create stories or comic strips and watch read aloud videos.

My students really enjoy learning and thrive on the successes they experience.

The students in my class are so diverse. They come mainly from Central America, many are low-income families and second language learners.

My Project

My order includes 3 very important things that we will use in the classroom that will fill my students hearts.

Since its Hispanic heritage month, I am trying to have a little space in our class library to embrace their uniqueness and have them see some Hispanic representation in literature.

I have also included a mirror camera so I can project my modeling and they can learn the strategies by seeing them, a pair of earbuds for my school virtual meetings and a box of cleaning supplies that we will be using all winter to stay healthy and protected in our classroom.
