My Project

Student dictionaries are of great value in classrooms. When made a priority, these easy-to-use tools will help grow our students' skills.

One of the top reasons using a dictionary in the classroom is to improve students' independence.

I spend a good deal of our writing block helping students spell words they really should be able to manage on their own. Our word wall doesn't always meet the needs of all of my students, and having dictionaries readily accessible will enable me to conference with students about their work and writing progress.
