My Project
I am a high school social studies teacher at Page High School. I teach 180 teenagers who are hungry. Many come from poverty-stricken homes and don't usually get to eat nutritious snacks. I plan to use the snacks to curb their hunger so they can pay attention and perform well in my class. Hoping by having these snacks they can focus on their studies and provide them with much-needed nutrients they normally don't get at home.
I have awe-inspiring and hard-working students and they deserve to have healthy snacks available.
