My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of potential. They come to class eager to explore, ask questions, and engage in hands-on learning despite the challenges they may face outside the classroom. I love their resilience, their sense of wonder, and the way they light up when a concept finally clicks.

To support my students’ academic success and overall well-being, I am requesting a few essential items that will enhance our classroom environment.

Headphones are a vital tool for helping students stay focused during independent learning, online assessments, and small group instruction by minimizing distractions and supporting auditory learners. A classroom carpet provides a comfortable and inviting space for group discussions, read-alouds, and collaborative activities, fostering a sense of community. The addition of a bean bag chair will create a cozy, flexible seating option that supports students who benefit from calm, sensory-friendly spaces for self-regulation or independent work. Lastly, a standing desk will offer students an alternative workspace that encourages movement and supports those who focus better when standing. Together, these items will help create an engaging, inclusive, and student-centered classroom where all learners can thrive.
