This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting will significantly enhance my students’ learning by providing them with engaging and hands-on materials that support their academic growth. These resources are designed to make learning more interactive and enjoyable, which is crucial for my 2nd grade students who thrive when they can actively participate in lessons. Items such as math manipulatives, educational games, and visual aids will help my students better understand complex concepts like number relationships. The tablet will allow students to access interactive educational apps and personalized learning activities, while the laminator will help create durable learning materials that can be used repeatedly to reinforce key concepts.

My primary goal for this project is to create a learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

By providing these resources, I aim to help my students develop stronger foundation in all learning areas. Additionally, I want to ensure that all my students, regardless of their learning style or background, have access to tools that meet their individual needs. Each resource you provide, including the tablet and laminator, will open doors to new opportunities and inspire my students to reach their full potential.

What makes my students special is their resilience, curiosity, and eagerness to learn. Many of my students face challenges outside the classroom, yet they show up every day with positive attitudes and a strong desire to grow. Their determination inspires me to find creative ways to engage them and ensure they feel successful.
