My Project

Dear Donors Choose Community,

We’re excited to launch our Cardboard Challenge in the library and STEAM program at Emerson Elementary, serving nearly 700 curious and creative students.

With just cardboard boxes and imagination, students will build unique inventions for “Falconville,” our student-designed community. To support this, we’re requesting materials like scissors, glue, tape, paints, and safety gear that will empower students to safely design, build, and explore engineering in a hands-on, collaborative way.

These materials will directly support creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork—21st-century skills essential for student success. Our students, who represent 26 home languages and diverse cultural backgrounds, are enthusiastic learners who thrive when given opportunities to make, build, and express themselves. This low-stress, high-engagement project connects to ISTE standards and builds a love of learning through exploration and creativity.

Thank you for helping our students bring cardboard to life through meaningful, imaginative learning.
