it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine a classroom where every student walks in, grabs their materials with ease, and dives into the past to uncover the roots of our nation’s story. In my 8th grade U.S. History class, we don’t just read about history—we interact with it. We analyze documents, engage in debates, and create dynamic interactive notebooks that bring our country's complex story to life. But we need your help to make this vision a daily reality.
Our class is in need of essential organizational and learning tools: a 10-drawer rolling cart for easy access to supplies, composition notebooks for building interactive journals, whiteboard erasers for collaborative activities, hand sanitizer to keep our shared space safe, and multiple tape dispensers so students can stay focused and hands-on in their learning—without waiting in line for materials.
These might seem like small items, but, in a busy classroom, they make a huge difference. They create structure, save valuable time, and, most importantly, empower students to take ownership of their learning.
