Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach reading intervention for kindergarteners through third graders, and my students are eager and hardworking. The Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) gift card would allow me to purchase materials and curriculum for my classroom, such as phonics center activities and core reading materials. I will also be sharing the TPT gift cards with a few new teachers at my school, so they can supplement the district-adopted curriculum and make learning more engaging and enriching in their classrooms as well.
The NumWorks calculators are intuitive graphing calculators designed to empower students to explore and discover mathematics on their own.
I will be donating these to the upper-grade math class because many students are unable to afford this calculator, and the teacher wants all students to have access to this great resource.
Supporting this project will allow these resources to be used by many students over the next several years.
