Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how my students bring such resilience and creativity to the classroom, each overcoming unique challenges in their own way. Many of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and face various learning obstacles, but they are incredibly bright and determined to succeed. My goal with this project is to provide them with a resource that helps them engage more deeply with lessons and tap into their full potential.
The portable smart TV with its 4K webcam and 1080p display will allow us to bring lessons to life in ways that are more engaging and accessible.
The mobility of the TV will make it possible to take learning beyond the traditional classroom setup, adapting to whatever space we’re in and meeting the needs of each student. The visual resources and interactive features will be especially helpful for my students, who each have IEPs and may have autism or learning disabilities, by giving them different ways to connect with the material. The built-in battery and swivel rotation will ensure the TV can be used in various configurations, allowing all students to have the best possible learning experience, no matter where they are in the classroom.
This project will make a significant difference by supporting various learning styles—whether visual, auditory, or hands-on—and helping my students explore lessons in ways that are meaningful and impactful. My goal is to create an environment where each child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn. My students are incredibly special because of their perseverance and unique perspectives, and I want to provide them with every tool to succeed and expand their horizons. This technology will be an invaluable resource in helping them thrive academically and personally.
