This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students have been learning to embrace technology in the classroom.
My students are 5th graders who are ready to embark on expanding their knowledge of technology.
My school is a Title I school and the students represent the low socio-economic families in the area. They definitely want to learn more and more about the different uses of technology and get so excited each time a new device is introduced to them.
My Project
The students will use the Osmos in unison with our classroom set of iPads. The Osmos will enhance not only their technological skills, but will also foster their social intelligence and creative thinking skills as well.
The memory cards will be used for our classroom camera to take photos of our students in action. The printer and the ink will be used to print photos taken of the students.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom development.
It will improve the social intelligence in this age of technology, their creative thinking skills, and empower students through the arts.
