Empowering Students Through Structure, Support, and Success
Help me give my students games, microscopes, science kits & models, snacks, and fidgets for a class that will help them build the social, emotional, academic skills they need to succeed both in and out of school.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to help my students build the social, emotional, academic skills they need to succeed both in and out of school. Many of my students face challenges that can make learning difficult, but with the right support and resources, they are capable of amazing growth. I strive to create a safe, consistent and supportive space where every student feels valued and empowered to learn. We work daily on building emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and communication skills---while also staying focused on grade level learning through hands on engaging and differentiated instruction.
