My students need an art easel to use when working on STEAM projects, and they need the stools to have a place to sit when they are working on their art projects.
My classroom is made up of 19 students all of different backgrounds. My classroom also has a makeup of about 9 students who have English as a second language. I have 4 students are in a SPARK program here at my school.
I work in a large school with a very high immigrant population.
Students at my school come from poverty-driven homes. I see a lot of my students come to school with the same clothes each day. They are all needy in their own way.
My Project
I have been doing a lot of research about STEM learning and the new innovative STEAM learning. I want to be able to incorporate more art into my students learning, but need supplies to do it.
The 4-way easel and stools will be used at a center during either math time or reading, depending on what topic I am teaching.
The tracing paper and drawing paper will be used at various times as well. The tubes are so that I can keep samples of their work for the next year's students in a safe place.
Your donation will provide my students with a hands-on approach to learning Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. There is so much learning you can do with art and it's imperative to get resources for these children.
