Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are hungry, not only for food in the cafeteria, but also for the lessons in their books and art.
My students live in a low income neighborhood.
My students are not expose to art and museums at home. I think we should empower students through art. I want my scholars to have the same opportunities to go to college as any other student in the nation. My students are eager to learn.
My Project
Several of the books we are requesting will be used for empowering students through art. These resources will be used in the classroom to create art projects. I want my scholars to see the connection between Math and Art. Also some of these books will also help students be expose to Art.
My students need books such as Strategies to integrate Arts in Mathematics, & Divide and Ride and Math Art: Hands-On Math Activities to introduce Art in Math.
These donations will help improve my classroom to be modern and broaden my students point of view. These donations will be empowering students through art. I want my students to see Math in more than word problems but in life.
