My Project
Our classroom is excited to launch a project that celebrates diversity, amplifies student voices, and promotes racial justice through hands-on learning with a heat press machine for t-shirts, hats, cups, and accessories.
With your support, students—many from underrepresented backgrounds—will design and produce custom apparel and products that reflect their cultures, identities, and social justice messages.
This creative process will allow students to express pride in their heritage, raise awareness about racial equity, and foster a more inclusive school community.
Using the heat press, students will:
Explore the science of heat transfer and STEAM concepts through culturally relevant projects
Apply technology and engineering skills to bring their ideas to life
Use graphic design to share personal stories and advocate for racial justice
Practice math skills in measurement and budgeting
Develop entrepreneurial abilities by creating and marketing products that celebrate diversity and representation
This project will empower students to collaborate, problem-solve, and innovate while using their creativity to promote equity and inclusion. Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of changemakers and leaders!
