My Project
As the school nurse at our school, I strive to support the health and well-being of every student who walks through my door. Many of our students are navigating challenges related to nutrition, body image, sports fitness, or chronic health conditions — and having access to accurate, reliable digital scales is critical to helping them monitor and manage their health.
Currently, our nurse’s office does not have the proper tools to provide students with consistent and precise weight measurements.
This impacts my ability to track important health metrics, support athletic participation requirements, and educate students on healthy lifestyles.
With your support, I hope to purchase digital scales that are easy to use, durable, and accurate. These scales will serve over 480 students, helping us:
Monitor student health trends
Track healthy weight gain or loss
Support students managing conditions like diabetes or eating disorders
Provide screenings for sports physicals or BMI checks
Educate students about wellness in a non-judgmental, supportive way
