Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students thrive when given opportunities to explore their creativity, collaborate with peers, and develop new skills. Our school clubs serve as safe spaces where students can engage in hands-on projects, express themselves artistically, and build strong connections with their peers. To enhance these experiences, we need essential materials that will allow our students to participate fully and take ownership of their club activities.
This project aims to provide tools and resources to support various student-led clubs, including a robotics club, a crafting and design club, and a technology-focused club.
By securing these materials, we can create an engaging and organized environment where students can collaborate efficiently, bring their creative ideas to life, and maintain an orderly workspace.
To support our student clubs, we need organizational tools like a multi-device charging station, ensuring students stay connected, and a robotic vacuum to maintain a clean and productive space. For our crafting and design club, we require a Cricut Explore 3, to replace our failing cutting machine and machine mats to create intricate, high-quality designs. Additionally, personalized club shirts will foster a sense of identity and unity among members.
Our students are eager to take part in hands-on learning experiences, and these materials will provide them with the necessary tools to do so. The organization, creativity, and teamwork that our clubs foster are crucial for students’ social and academic development. With these resources, our students will have the opportunity to develop real-world skills, feel a strong sense of inclusion and take pride in representing their school.
