This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am fortunate to teach 17 second grade students who are in the EFL program (Extended Foreign Language), in a neighborhood school in an urban part of Florida.
My students have a wide range of learning needs and challenges.
They are eager to learn and love to create. They are thinkers, inquisitive, talkers, and imaginative. They are on the move, love to read, and invent.
A Cricut Maker will allow my students to bring their designs and creations to life. This amazing equipment will permit my students imagination to have no limit.
The Cricut will also be used by the students to create engaging hands-on projects. It will facilitate lessons and allow them to make our room more appealing with bulletin boards and anchor charts. This will also generate a sense of pride and ownership of our classroom.
