My Project

I serve a diverse group of learners from grades PK-6, and have witnessed firsthand the incredible potential they possess. These items hold immense educational value for our students. Here's how each of these will make a significant difference in their learning: Puzzles encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning. They promote collaboration and patience while providing a fun and engaging way to learn mathematical and logical concepts. Instant snow powder introduces students to the wonders of chemistry and physics. They can witness the magic of water expansion and absorption in a hands-on and memorable way, sparking their interest in science. Sewing is not just a practical skill; it is also a form of engineering and design. Students can use sewing needles to explore basic sewing techniques and create fabric-based projects that blend art and technology. Solving a Rubik's Cube is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor that promotes critical thinking and perseverance. It's an excellent tool for enhancing problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding. Larger puzzles provide a more significant challenge and encourage teamwork, concentration, and fine motor skills. They offer a sense of accomplishment when completed, boosting students' confidence.

These hands-on activities will make learning exciting and relevant to their lives and I want our students to become critical thinkers who can approach problems from different angles.

I aim to engage our students' curiosity and inspire a love for STEM subjects. These materials will encourage them to develop problem-solving strategies and think creatively. Many of these activities involve collaboration, helping our students build essential social skills and work effectively in teams. Completing challenging tasks, such as solving a Rubik's Cube or creating a sewing project, will boost our students' confidence and self-esteem. Many students face economic challenges, but despite obstacles, they are resilient, creative, and eager to learn.
