My Project

When I stepped into this classroom, I wasn't just taking over a space. I inherited an opportunity to ignite potential in students who have rarely seen technology as a path forward. I serve a rural high school in Oklahoma where students are full of talent but often lack access to modern tools and programs that connect them to 21st-century careers.

With your help, we are transforming this classroom into a hub of innovation.

I’m launching a CareerTech program that focuses on real-world technology skills, everything from computer science to digital marketing. Our students will also have access to a brand-new esports team, creating a sense of belonging while also learning teamwork, strategy, and STEM-related skills.

We’re taking it even further: students will create podcasts and produce marketing content for local businesses, building both their technical skills and community relationships. These projects introduce them to high-demand fields like broadcasting, graphic design, and entrepreneurship. In a town where many students haven’t seen jobs like these modeled before, we’re showing them what’s possible.

This isn’t just about equipment it’s about building belief. Your support will help us obtain Esports optical gaming mice and headsets so our rural students can step confidently into careers that once felt out of reach. Let’s show them that success doesn’t only live in the city, it can start right here in rural Oklahoma.
