My Project
I teach an incredible group of high school students who inspire me daily with their resilience, curiosity, and determination to succeed—despite the challenges many face as part of a Title I school community. My students are eager to learn and thrive when given access to engaging, meaningful instruction that meets them where they are.
A laptop will help me design and deliver more dynamic lessons, incorporate interactive math tools, and streamline grading and feedback so I can focus more time on supporting individual learning needs.
With this technology, I can use graphing software, create digital assessments, and bring in visuals and simulations that make complex concepts like functions, systems of equations, and geometry come alive. It will also allow me to access real-time data to adjust instruction and better reach struggling learners.
This project supports not just one classroom—but years of students gaining a stronger, more confident understanding of math through purposeful tech integration.
