Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my 5th grade students is their energy, creativity, and determination. Despite facing serious hardships and having very few resources at home, they come to school with big hearts and a strong desire to learn and grow. Their diverse backgrounds bring unique perspectives, and their resilience inspires me every day.
This project will provide much-needed sports equipment that will help my students build essential skills like teamwork, focus, and perseverance.
Physical activity not only improves their health but also boosts their attention, confidence, and ability to manage emotions in the classroom.
My goal is to create a safe, fun, and structured environment where students can learn through movement. These resources will give them the chance to release stress, build social connections, and stay engaged. With your support, they can feel valued, capable, and ready to reach their full potential—both on the field and in the classroom.
