My Project
I’ve been invited to attend a highly regarded professional development opportunity in Washington, D.C. that focuses on advanced, research-based strategies in Physics education. This event brings together STEM educators from across the country to explore innovations in science teaching, real-world applications, and equity in STEM access.
Attending this PD will directly enhance the instruction I deliver to my students.
I will gain new strategies for making Physics more engaging and accessible—especially for underserved learners—and learn how to integrate more hands-on experiments, phenomena-based instruction, and cross-disciplinary STEM projects into my curriculum.
In return, I will not only implement new strategies in my own classroom, but I’ll also share what I learn with other teachers in my district. As one of our district’s curriculum writers and science resource reviewers, I have the platform to spread these benefits far beyond my own students.
