This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my ESL classroom, I am dedicated to providing my students with the resources they need to thrive in their language learning journey. My students are enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to learn, but many face challenges accessing the necessary materials that support their educational growth.
To create a supportive and effective learning environment, I am requesting headphones with microphones, pencils, and organizational materials.
Why These Materials Matter:
Headphones with Microphones: These will allow my students to participate in interactive language exercises, online reading programs like Read180, and assessments without distractions. Speaking practice is crucial for English learners, and having a microphone helps build their confidence in their speaking abilities.
Pencils: Something as simple as a pencil can make a big difference in ensuring students can engage in classroom activities, take notes, and complete their assignments. Many of my students come from low-income families, and having a steady supply of pencils will ensure no one is left behind due to a lack of materials.
Organizational Materials: Items like plastic tubs and a rolling cart will help me keep resources organized, which is essential for tracking their progress and managing assignments.
Thank you for considering my project and for supporting my amazing students!
