This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The laminator, Post-its, index cards, and push-pins will enable me to create interactive and visually engaging manipulatives tailored to the diverse needs of my multilingual learners. By laminating materials, I can ensure durability and repeated use, allowing students to practice language skills through hands-on activities. Post-its and index cards can be used for vocabulary building, sentence construction, and visual aids, while push-pins will help organize and display their work, fostering a sense of ownership. These tools will promote active participation, collaboration, and a more immersive learning experience, ultimately enhancing their comprehension and language development.

I hope to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of multilingual learners, many of whom are immigrants and refugees from different parts of the world.

By the end of this project, I envision my students not only improving their language skills but also feeling more empowered and connected in the classroom.
