Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the school year is coming to an end, negative behaviors may arise. To foster a positive learning environment and counteract this trend, I am implementing a rewards system.
Classroom rewards serve many purposes, including boosting students' self-esteem, encouraging positive behavior, and motivating them academically.
By offering incentives like keychains, stress balls, and writing packs, I can boost students' confidence, encourage good behavior, and enhance their academic motivation. Stress balls provide a tool for managing anxiety and stress during challenging tasks, promoting emotional well-being and focus. Writing packs empower students to express themselves creatively and organize their thoughts effectively, thereby enhancing their communication and critical thinking skills.
What makes my students special is their resilience and hard work. They've shown remarkable growth and dedication throughout the year, despite facing challenges. They deserve recognition and rewards as we finish this academic journey together!
