This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am reaching out to ask for your support in building a diverse and inclusive check-out classroom library. Our goal is to provide students with books that authentically represent a variety of cultural experiences, with characters and authors who reflect the rich diversity of our world.

My 5th grade students are hardworking, curious young individuals with inquiring minds.

Our community has a significant need for books that students can bring home to read daily.

By creating a culturally responsive library, we aim to foster a love for reading while helping students connect with stories that mirror their own lives and broaden their perspectives.

Your generosity will directly benefit my dual Spanish immersion students, giving them access to an incredible collection of authentic literature that will inspire and empower them. We are deeply grateful for your support in helping us create a vibrant learning environment.
