My Project
I love my students for their curiosity, resilience, and determination to succeed in a challenging subject like math. They come to class ready to tackle problems, ask thoughtful questions, and support one another as they grow. What makes them special is their diversity—each brings unique perspectives and strengths that enrich our learning environment.
The iPad Pro I am requesting will transform the way my students engage with math.
With tools like Notability, Desmos, and GeoGebra, I can create interactive lessons that make complex concepts more accessible. For example, graphing functions in real-time or annotating visual proofs will help students connect abstract ideas to concrete understanding. Additionally, the iPad Pro will allow me to provide immediate, personalized feedback, which is crucial for students who need targeted support.
This project’s goal is to enhance student engagement and comprehension by integrating technology into our classroom. I also want to inspire my students to see math as more than just numbers and equations—it’s a tool for solving real-world problems and fostering critical thinking.
Beyond the classroom, this resource will support my role as department chair. It will help me collaborate with colleagues, share innovative teaching strategies, and analyze student data to make informed decisions that benefit all learners in our department.
My students deserve every opportunity to succeed, and this resource will help me provide them with a dynamic and supportive learning experience. Thank you for helping us make math meaningful and engaging!
