My Project
I teach an amazing group of 2nd graders who are eager to learn, explore, and grow. Many of my students come from low-income households and rely on our classroom for access to technology and resources that support their success. These students are bright, curious, and thrive with visual, digital, and hands-on tools.
Right now, we have only one teacher iPad for the entire class, which limits our ability to run small group rotations, centers, and provide digital feedback.
This project will bring in a second iPad, giving students more opportunities for personalized learning through apps like iReady, Epic!, and Seesaw while working with the teacher and or teacher's aide.
The adjustable document viewer stand will let me use the iPad as a document camera to model lessons, share student work in real time, and make learning more visual and engaging.
The folio keyboard case will allow the iPad to function like a laptop, supporting writing assignments, typing practice, and easy navigation during interactive learning. Adding an Apple Pencil will help students with fine motor skill development, handwriting, drawing, and digital annotations. A durable protective case ensures the iPad stays safe in young hands, and a second charger keeps our devices powered and ready throughout the school day.
With this setup, my students will have greater access to technology, higher engagement during instruction, and more equitable opportunities to succeed. It helps me teach more interactively and students learn more independently.
