My Project
I teach an amazing group of 6th and 7th grade students in an ICT and self-contained special education setting. My students have diverse learning needs, and they thrive with hands-on and technology-based learning tools. They are enthusiastic, curious, and determined to succeed despite the challenges they face.
Access to laptops will provide my students with the opportunity to engage with interactive learning programs tailored to their needs.
They’ll be able to research, collaborate, and create projects that enhance their understanding of the curriculum. Laptops will also support accessibility tools, such as text-to-speech and graphic organizers, which are essential for their success.
Our classroom currently lacks sufficient technology, which limits the experiences I can offer my students. With your support, I can provide equitable access to technology and ensure my students have the tools they need to thrive in school and beyond.
Your generous donation will provide laptops for daily use in reading, math, science, and social studies. It will enable students to complete projects, research assignments, and use adaptive learning programs. It will also help my students develop critical technology skills to prepare them for the future.
