Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Transitioning from middle school to high school can be a challenge for almost any student. To support those most at risk of struggling, we will be hosting a summer bridge program for students who are on the cusp of vulnerability. Many of these students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds.
The aim is to connect with them early and help establish positive habits that will set them up for success in high school and beyond.
By providing each student with a copy of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, we can introduce them to valuable life skills that will empower them to succeed not only in high school but throughout their lives.
