This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Minecraft isn’t just about playing video games; it’s about teamwork, strategy, problem-solving, and promoting college readiness. The games and builds we focus on are educational, offering benefits that extend beyond the screen. Minecraft encourages creativity and resource management. Our club prioritizes educational content, avoiding mindless violence, and ensuring parents can feel confident in their children’s participation.

How These Resources Will Help:

The Legos will allow every student to participate fully, regardless of their personal gaming equipment. The Legos will create a space for students to build teamwork, communication and overall creativity and get them away from the screen for a bit. Then we can take these skills and utilize them in the builds in Minecraft itself. This will help them build stronger connections with their peers, learn new skills, and gain confidence. My goal is to provide a safe, educational space where students can learn and grow through esports, preparing them for future challenges in school and life.

The students in our club are passionate and eager to learn. They’re not just gamers; they’re future leaders and innovators. Each student brings unique strengths to the table, and with your support, we can help them develop these talents even further.
