This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love the boundless curiosity and eagerness to explore that my students bring to the classroom every day. They possess a natural wonder about the world around them, making teaching not just a profession but a journey of discovery together. My students, who come from diverse backgrounds, bring unique perspectives that enrich our learning environment, fostering a community where each voice is valued and every question celebrated.

My goal for this project is not just to teach my students about science and technology but to inspire a lifelong passion for discovery and innovation.

By providing them with these resources, I aim to foster an environment where learning is hands-on, collaborative, and deeply engaging.

The resources I am requesting will significantly enhance their learning experiences:

Lego: These timeless building blocks will ignite creativity and develop fine motor skills. As students construct their imaginative designs, they will also learn about basic engineering principles and spatial awareness.

Magnetic Tiles: These tiles are not only fun but also educational. They will help students understand geometric concepts and the basics of magnetism, fostering an early love for physics.

STEM Kits: Carefully curated to align with our curriculum, these kits will provide hands-on experiences in various STEM fields, from biology to robotics, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of essential concepts.

String and Marbles: Utilized in physics experiments, these materials will help students visually grasp the laws of motion and energy. By building simple marble runs, they will understand concepts like gravity, momentum, and friction in a practical, engaging way.

STEM Project Cards: These cards will provide structured challenges and ideas, guiding students through exciting projects while encouraging independent thought and innovation.
